18. Coffee Beans
Do you need a gift basket for someone who loves strong coffee in the morning? If you’re interested in organic coffee, we recommend Death Wish coffee.
This company claims that their roasted beans are twice as strong as a regular cup of coffee, but still have great taste. Read our full review of Death Wish Coffee here!
Do you know if the person you’re buying this gift for likes coffee with a lot of caffeine or not? They may like Cooper’s Ethiopian Bright Light Roast. This coffee was grown at a high altitude, which results in a complex and nuanced cup of coffee with notes of fruits and nuts.
We recommend the Death Wish coffee with the French press for these two brands. For the Cooper’s Ethiopian Bright Light Roast, we recommend using the pour-over method.
19. Tea
We sometimes like to change things up, and what could be better than tea? If you know the type of tea the person you are gifting prefers, then choose that type! If not, we recommend a sampler pack.
The Twinings Tea Bags Sampler Assortment Variety Pack Gift Box contains 48 different flavors. We suggest the Taylors of Harrogate Classic Tea Variety Box if you want something that looks and tastes good.
20. French Press
We should put something in the coffee gift basket that can make coffee. Here is one great coffee maker option: the French Press.
It provides the drinker with a sense of control over their coffee from start to finish.
French presses make a cup of coffee that is full of flavour and oil. A “dirty” cup of coffee refers to a cup of coffee that has been brewed using a method that has been popular for quite some time.
There are quite a few coffee makers on the market, but we tend to prefer those with rustic aesthetics because they also tend to be amazing in terms of functionality. For that reason, we recommend the Veken French Press Coffee Maker or the Bodum Chambord French Press.
The two coffee makers mentioned are both made by great companies with great reputations in the coffee world, so the main difference will be based on your personal preferences.
21. Pour Over
Pour-over is a method of brewing that has seen a rise in popularity over the past 20 years or so. The pour-over is different from the French Press in that you have more control over your cup from start to finish.
Though the French Press is typically associated with a “muddy” cup of coffee, pour-over brewing is generally thought of as producing a “cleaner” cup. This is because less of the coffee’s natural oils are extracted, resulting in a cup with brighter flavor notes. There is no harm in having both a French Press and a pour-over, according to some people. Others prefer just one or the other.
Some of our favorite pour-over coffee makers are the Bodum Pour Over Coffee Maker and the Chemex.
Bodum is known for making coffee-related items and Chemex is known for making pour-overs that yield a lot of coffee.
Specialty shops are now offering the Chemex as an option in general. The price difference between the two options may influence your final decision.
22. Coffee Grinder
This coffee basket needs a grinder to turn the coffee beans into powder. There are a few different types of coffee grinders, from manual to electric. The only problem you might have is if it will fit in your shopping basket.
The Hamilton Beach 80335R is a great grinder that will fit perfectly next to your coffee maker. It is compact in size but big in results. The coffee grinder is highly adjustable, with a removable top, so you can easily access all the coffee you just ground.
The JavaPresse Manual Coffee Grinder is perfect for people who like to be more hands-on. We like how this item looks, but it’s not as adjustable as we would like and it’s a little tough to use. The device is made of stainless steel, which gives it a sleek and classy look.
23. Homemade Cold Brew
A mason jar of cold brew is a great way to add more personal touch to a gift basket. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make cold-brew coffee that will last for a couple of weeks and be both smooth and delicious.
Don’t send it too soon so that it will still be fresh when the person receives it. Include your go-to cold brew recipe on a recipe card as a bonus.
